Communal studio offices where freelancers and small businesses share space

Milk Studios is run by a journalist, Beatrice Newbery, and architect, Steve Lawrence. After some experience writing from her own sitting room, Beatrice already knew the miseries of home-working. Between them, they hatched a plan to launch Milk Studios, enabling freelancers to leave their homes in the morning and come to work among other like-minded people, in a politics-free environment, and an atmosphere of both `fun and diligence.
